ÖZET
Sakroiliit, özellikle ankilozan spondilitin karakteristik bir bulgusu olmakla birlikte; psöriyatik
artropati, ailesel Akdeniz ateşi, Behçet hastalığı, hiperparatiroidizm gibi hastalıkların seyri sırasında
görülebilmektedir. Ayrıca, literatürde Brusella enfeksiyonuna, kristallerin (gut-psödogut)
indüklemesine, malign hastalıklara, izotretinoine bağlı sakroiliit olguları da mevcuttur. Akne tedavisinde

ABSTRACT
Although sacroiliitis is a characteristic finding of ankylosing spondylitis, it can be seen
during the course of diseases such as psoriatic arthropathy, familial Mediterranean fever, Behçet’s
disease, hyperparathyroidism. In addition, there are cases of sacroiliitis associated with Brucella infection,
induction of crystals (gut-pseudogout), malign diseases, isotretinoin in the literatur. The
most frequent adverse effects of isotretinoin, a vitamin A derivative used in the treatment of acne,
are arthralgia, myalgia and rarely sacroiliitis, arthritis and polyneuropathy. We aimed to present
sacroiliitis in a 23-year-old female patient who received isotretinoin treatment for acne vulgaris in
this case report.
